Installing Sumo on Django

If you have not already signed up for Sumo, check out the Getting Started with Sumo Guide before following the instructions below.

Installing Sumo on Django

  1. Open the folder where your website's files are located and open your main template file (this is usually titled index.html) in your favorite IDE (code editor). (NOTE: Your screen may look different).
  2. Paste the SumoMe code inside of the head tags within index.html (make sure that the code is in between the two head tags), then Save

  3. Congrats, you're all done! Navigate to the top right corner of your website and enter your Sumo credentials to start using Sumo! (NOTE: Your website must be deployed to a server for you to see Sumo. Alternatively, you can use the live preview feature in an editor like Brackets to make sure Sumo is working.)
